Dr. Sutton sees patients on Wednesday and Friday, and Dr. Baer sees patients on Thursdays. Occasionally a doctor may be available on Monday and Tuesday.

Please do NOT use email for urgent or confidential issues. Email access to the office receptionist is provided to assist you in knowing our hours, appointment availability, products, fees, your balance, etc., but not to provide clinical treatment. Email is not 100% reliable. Time-sensitive and confidential messages should be conveyed by telephone, mail, or fax.

When we communicate with you, we will telephone you as a rule. If you have special needs in regards to how we communicate with you, please let us know.

If you must miss an appointment, please call or email us a full business day in advance. A missed appointment without notice will result in a charge of no more than 50% ($15-$120.00 based on visit length) of the visit fee. We charge $35.00 fee for returned checks.

What to bring with you:

• Relevant lab or imaging reports from other doctors, if you have any.
• All medications, supplements, and remedies; reading their labels is very useful in an appointment.
• Please make a list of questions and concerns you have.
• If you are a patient with cancer, pathology reports and special immunohistochemistry testing results are valuable for the appointment.
• Forms you completed (see FORMS section)

office hours

Days Closed: Monday and Tuesday are non-appointment days, but the office will still be open from noon till 3 pm to make appointments, respond to emails and to sell remedies. The office will no longer be closed for lunch. (See sidebar for days the office will be closed during upcoming months.)

call coverage + after-hours availability

Dr. Sutton and Dr. Baer provide consults in anthroposophic medicine. Effective December 23, 2014, Dr. Sutton will no longer take call. Patients will need to have a primary care physician other than Dr. Sutton effective December 23, 2014, to answer urgent medical needs.

From Hwy 50 (West or East):

Exit Sunrise Blvd/ Fair Oaks. Turn north onto Sunrise Blvd. (Left from west, Right from east) Proceed down Sunrise Blvd to Fair Oaks Blvd (approx. 2.3 mi). Turn left onto Fair Oaks Blvd. RM&TPC is located on the right in the Beechwood North office complex,* just at the top of the hill one and a half blocks after the Fair Oaks/Sunrise intersection. Subway sandwich shop is an easily visible marker. The next intersection beyond the complex is New York Ave – if you reach New York Ave, you’ve gone a bit too far.

*Turn into the 1st or 2nd driveway of Beechwood North office complex. The 1st driveway leads to Handicapped parking. A small sign by the sidewalk will guide you to RM&TPC. If you come in the 2nd driveway, Players Pub will be behind you as you are looking at the red-white-and-blue RM&TPC window sign.

From I-80 (Coming from the East, eg Auburn, Nevada City):

Exit Douglas Blvd / Sunrise Avenue South. Make a slight right onto Sunrise Blvd. (Sunrise Avenue becomes Sunrise Blvd). Proceed south down Sunrise Blvd to Fair Oaks Blvd (5.72 mi). Turn right onto Fair Oaks Blvd. RM&T is located on the right in the Beechwood North office complex 1½ blocks after Fair Oaks/Sunrise intersection. *See above

From I-80 (Coming from the West, eg Bay Area):

Exit Madison Avenue East. Turn right. Go 4.6 mi. Turn right onto Sunrise Blvd. Proceed north on Sunrise Blvd 1.6 mi to Fair Oaks Blvd. Turn right onto Fair Oaks. RM&T is located on the right in the Beechwood North office complex 1½ blocks after Fair Oaks/Sunrise intersection. *See above
